Palermo has officially announced the redemption of midfielder Jasmin Kurtic. After three seasons at the club, Kurtic has left the Sicilian club. He has been so far in co-ownership of Palermo and Sassuolo, and plays as a midfielder for Sassuolo, which has paid for the half of player's contract two million, in total 3, 4 million euros. However, since Italians are abolishing co-ownerships of players, Palermo and Sassuolo had to agree on full ownership of the player. Kurtic is among others also a member of Slovenia national football team. In 2010 it was announced Kurtić had agreed a four-and-a-half year contract with the Sicilians, a year later he moved on loan to Varese. For the season 2012/13 he returned to Palermo in Serie A. In 2014 Kurtic was loaned to Torino.
